Relaxed and welcoming!, The Cherry tree is a country pub located in the village of Copthorne which once served as the local library and is over 400 years old.

Decorated in a contemporary style but with a reminder of the past with our collection of black and white photographs of the local area. Our intimate Restaurant serves traditional British food and we proudly use the freshest ingredients from local sources, whether you are looking for a three course meal or simply a snack, every Friday we specialise in seafood.

We have entertainment to suit everybody's tastes ranging from our Wednesday night poker, to live music at the weekends, friday offers a more chilled out evening with acoustic artists, Saturday night are for those with the party spirit and an appreciation for local bands.

Our dedicated chefs like to show off their skills by bringing you traditional cuisine from around the world on our monthly theme nights, In the summer we dust off the BBQ and get outside to enjoy the British sunshine in our fabulous beer garden.
