Relaxed and welcoming!, The Cherry tree is a country pub located in the village of Copthorne which once served as the local library and is over 400 years old.

Decorated in a contemporary style but with a reminder of the past with our collection of black and white photographs of the local area. Our intimate Restaurant serves a selection of traditional British dishes and we proudly use the freshest ingredients from local sources, whether you are looking for a three course meal or simply a snack.

We have entertainment to suit every taste, including our popular Monday night Quiz, or showing off the local musical talent every Saturday night with a range of rock/indie/blues/50's and much more.

Our dedicated chefs like to show off their skills by bringing you traditional cuisine from Britain and abroad in their daily Specials. In the summer we dust off the BBQ and get outside to enjoy the British sunshine in our fabulous beer garden. Don't forget to bring the kids who can keep themselves entertained in our kid's area
